Seeing the video was both a powerful lesson in the power of love ("Oden didn't know they were weird." Pow.) and also heartwrenching in recalling the day I sat on the floor in that man's place, my own dog Hannah's head in my lap. She taught me as much about love and hope and forgiveness as most any human friend I've had.

Thank you for this video, I have been in that man's place just this past May and know his pain but also know that Jefferson was about love, total love. I hope someday that I can be like a dog and accept people for who they are and not who I think they should be.
